Puppet Theatre OstravaPuppet Theatre Ostrava is a professional scene focussed on works for children and youth in the Moravian-Silesian Region. During a season it plays 600 performances and adopts 4 to 5 new pieces. PTO presents also evening shows for adult audience. In 2011 a new extension with an alternative scene, amphitheatre, puppet gallery with a sweet shop and astronomical clock was raised next to the main building. The foyer of the theatre will be full with the puppets that are not in the centre of attention any more but rest in silence of the depositary.
