INDUSTRIAL GalleryINDUSTRIAL Gallery is located in the centre of Ostrava in Zahradní street no. 10. The gallery presents authors of a new generation and graduates of universities with a goal to develop their concepts at the beginning of their artistic careers. In addition to the works by emerging artists the gallery also focuses on the work by already established authors. It thus offers selection of first-class international art from the youngest through the middle generation to the oldest active artists. It presents a wide range of visual culture media, fine, and applied arts with a diverse approach. 17.00–24.00Jan Vytiska in INDUSTRIAL GalleryDuring Ostrava Museum Night you are cordially invited to the exhibition of Jan Vytiska. Jan Vytiska (*1985) is one of the most distinctive artists of the young generation. He studied in Ostrava with Doc. Mgr. Jiří Surůvka in the New Media studio and he graduated in 2010. In January 2012 he was in the finals of the Critical Prize for Young Painters and in 2011 he was awarded the prize of UniCredit Bank Prague Photo Young Award at Art Prague, which is given to artists under 30. A DJ performance will accompany the evening. Until late night visitors are warmly welcomed in the Industrial Cafe, where art lovers can taste salty and sweet treats that they can take away with them for their wanders at Ostrava Museum Night. |
